In 2013,  

Joe first started working on some old Legendcraft, F&F, Alweld, and Duracraft aluminum boats that he picked up, which he would customize and turn into what he believed a duck boat should be. Over the next few months, friends approached him to customize and improve their own boats to meet the demands of 60-day duck season in the Arkansas Timber. In late 2014, Joe launched WJR Inc., and began offering his expertise to the public. Fast forward to 2020, WJR Customs is now the industry leader in performance duck boat accessories and customization with dealers in Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. WJR is also an authorized Phoenix LED, Vance Manufacturing, Redleg, and Creative Audio dealer.
